Colonel Scott Ritter (ret.), former Unioted Nations Weapons Inspector, is a highly visible commentator on American foreign policy and international affairs. You may not be aware that on Sunday he was taken off a plane bound for St. Petersburgh by Customs officials at the instruction of the State Department. His passport was seized. No explanation was given. These arbitrary actions appear to be a direct violation of Constitutionally guaranteed civil liberties. The story has been largely ignored by the media and political circles.
